FDA Advises Not To Use These Nine Sanitizers

With the coronavirus outbreak, there is a huge demand for hand sanitizers and hand washes. USA's Food and Drug Administration warned the public not to use the below nine hand sanitizers as they contain toxic substances. Here is the list:

All-Clean Hand Sanitizer (NDC: 74589-002-01)

Esk Biochem Hand Sanitizer (NDC: 74589-007-01)

CleanCare NoGerm Advanced Hand Sanitizer 75% Alcohol (NDC: 74589-008-04)

Lavar 70 Gel Hand Sanitizer (NDC: 74589-006-01)

The Good Gel Antibacterial Gel Hand Sanitizer (NDC: 74589-010-10)

CleanCare NoGerm Advanced Hand Sanitizer 80% Alcohol (NDC: 74589-005-03)

CleanCare NoGerm Advanced Hand Sanitizer 75% Alcohol (NDC: 74589-009-01)

CleanCare NoGerm Advanced Hand Sanitizer 80% Alcohol (NDC: 74589-003-01)

Saniderm Advanced Hand Sanitizer (NDC: 74589-001-01).

All the products are manufactured by Eskbiochem SA de CV in Mexico. FDA says that they contain methanol. This can be toxic when absorbed or ingested through the skin. This chemical cannot be accepted as a hand sanitizer said FDA. All the consumers who used the above hand sanitizers are advised to take immediate treatment to reverse the toxic effects of methanol. The symptoms because of these sanitizers include nausea, headache, vomiting, permanent blindness, blurred vision, coma and damage to the nervous system.
