We all strive to give best education, career and best life to our kids... we do what not to our kids be happy??? But are we giving at least some time to know what our kids really like? Apart from studies or along with education, what is their interest area???

We want our kids to become either doctor or engineer or a C.A. for their good future... we make sure our kids prepare for their future right from their early childhood and always want them to study or develop their general knowledge and skill to be able to cope up with the competitive world. But we do not observe our kid's grasping power in imitating the most difficult dance step they have seen on Television and doing a perfect bit to gets that step right, singing that good song without a mistake in perfect tempo, showing not just interest but proficiency in cricket, tennis, table tennis and so on.

It is not we have to encourage our kids to leave their academics and pursue their interests. But, inculcating the balance between academics and interests of the kids would not only build an interest in them to study well but also pursue their passion with our acceptance. This way, kids will develop an habit of going ahead in academics, being proficient in their passion, devoting time for all in a day and most important, kids will in turn respect and love us for respecting and valuing their interest.

So, think over and understand your kid's interest, encourage him to live his passion as well as do good at academics even.

Remember, it is not always what we think right should be correct for our kid, even our kid has some thoughts and interest. All they require is our guidance and a balance between career and passion.
