After the 2014 elections in Telangana, more than any other party, it is YSRCP, that got a huge blow and is continuing to get the same, in all the subsequent elections.
YSRCP has quit its old office, after 2014 general elections, as part of the cost cutting measure and has been operating from Jagan’s Lotus Pond residence in Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who reportedly thought that, TDP would not survive in Telangana, is slowly moving all the party operations to AP itself. Sensing the need for the shift, even Jagan is planning to shift all the party meetings to Vijayawada.
In this regard, the first meeting of YSR Congress in Vijayawada, involving the state level party organization, will reportedly happen on June 6th, if the Rajya Sabha elections happen unanimously.

While YSRCP’s Telangana unit is no more existing, the party’s move from Telangana to AP, has acquired huge significance. The analysts opined that, Telangana people are not in a mood to tolerate Jagan and his activities in the state and this was smelled by the YSRCP Chief too. So at least to safeguard his position in AP, before Naidu conquers, the leader is now moving to Andhra.
