The fortune telling episode at Secunderabad Mahankali Temple, which takes place every year as a part of Lashkar Bonalu-one of the major festivals in Telangana region-in Secunderabad, has taken place on Monday. The woman, who was under the spell, has forecast the future. It may be noted that women from a particular family will mount a wet pot to tell the future. The locals look at the woman as the Goddess as she will be under the spell.

Swarnalatha had forecast the future this time too. She said heavy downpour would be witnessed this year. She stressed on the construction of Mahakaleshwara Swamy. Also, she said that the arrangements made by temple authorities disappointed her. Answering to one of the devotees questions, she said everyone were equal in the eyes of her and ruled that caste and creed were creation of men.

Secunderabad MP Anjan Kumar Yadav and Sanathnagar MLA Marri Shashidhar Reddy took part in Rangam.
