K V Ramana Chary, Government advisor released Akkanna Madanna Mahankali Bonalu festival brochure of the old city at his chambers in Secretariat in Hyderabad on Monday . He also sought blessings of Ammavaru for peaceful completion of Bonalu festival in the city which will start on July 22 and end on August 1.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that “the Goddess will bless the people with prosperity and peaceful atmosphere in the city. The Akkanna Madanna Mahankali temple has been conducting the festivities for 68 years in a grand manner.” He added that the brochure was released for the third time.

Ramana Chary also said that he has been associated with the old city since he became Vice- Chairman of Quli Qutub Shah Urban Development Authority. Former Vice-chairman of Khadi Board , Niranjan, temple vice president Raja Rathnam and secretary Dattatraya were also present.
