Bonalu festival a special and important one for the people of Telangana who observe it with devotion will start on 11th in
Hyderabad and ends on5th August after Rangam.  

The State Minister Gita Reddy said that the State Government is sanctioning a sum of 20 lakhs for the Bonalu festival.  

Gita Reddy who is also looking after the State Home Ministry has conducted a meeting at Secretariat today to review the
arrangements for Bonalu in the city that starts on 11th at Golconda.  Ujaaini Mahankali Bonalu festival at Secunderabad will
be held on 28th and Bonalu at Lal Darwaja will be conducted on 4th August after which Rangam and Bonalu concluding
celebrations will be held on 5th August.  

Gita Reddy gave instructions to the officers concerned that adequate arrangements should be made to ensure a smooth passing
off of the festival without any problem of law and order anywhere during the time of the festival.
