T cong MPs yet to quit

T cong MP  yet to quit Congress MP Mr. Rajaiah said in Delhi today that he and other congress MPs of the Telangana region could not submit their resignations to the Lok Sabha Speaker Ms Meira Kumar as they could not reach her office in time.
 
Speaking to media persons at the Parliament House after they failed to meet the Speaker at the appointed time of 11 am, Rajaiah requested
the media and the people not to entertain doubts about their intention to quit the posts.
 
“We are going to quit. We are seeking her appointment again. Kindly don’t doubt our intentions to resign,” he said.
 
Reiterating that there is no question of going back, he said the poor and downtrodden will benefit if the separate state of Telangana is formed. “Small states will result in political power to the SCs and the STs.”
 
Seven congress MPs of the T region had arrived in Delhi from Hyderabad on Sunday to submit their resignations to the Speaker demanding the formation of the Telangana state.
