Last Day of the AP Game at Delhi

The fate of AP with regards to its bifurcation is going to be decided today at the Capital for which all the players including GoM are fully equipped to play and also to defend wearing head to bottom sports safety items.

It is a tripartite fight between GoM, Seemandhra leaders and Telangana leaders.  Everyone interested in political development is anxiously watching to see who will be bowled out and who will fare well with maximum runs and what will be the final result.  As the game has been played for a long time, a draw is the least thing anyone wants.

Today is going to be the last day for the representations of the political leaders to GoM regarding the State bifurcation.

The Group of Ministers formed to chalk out the way for the bifurcation of the State is scheduled to meet with the Telangana and Seemandhra leaders along with the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy who stated previously that he will not lose hope till the last ball.

In addition to the deliberations, the petitions on the Government’s decision to bifurcate the State is coming to the Supreme Court for hearing today.

Telangana leaders are stationed at Delhi for the last two days working on the representation to put forth to GoM.  The main issues in their report to be submitted are, No Board is required to be created on Godavari waters but only a Board on Krishna waters is enough. The Center should arrange for the power needs of Telangana State.  Only Revenue division of Hyderabad should be made a common Capital of the two states after bifurcation.

The Seemandhra leaders who have left today are asking for the HMDA to be made as the common Capital as their main demand and Bhadrachalam division to be merged back with Andhra as it was in 1956.  These demands come to the front after their first demand of keeping the State united fails.

Everyone is looking for the final results in the court of the GoM and Supreme Court today on which the plan of Government’s State bifurcation depends.
