After Gopal Kanda had submitted the resignation for his position of a state minister for Haryana, the governor of the state had immediately accepted his resignation. A case was registered against Gopal Kanda for abetting the suicide of the now inoperative airline MDLR employee Geetika Sharma.
A spokesman said that there was no delay in accepting Kanda’s resignation.
He was booked by the Delhi Police for abetting the suicide of an employee after she mentioned that she was mentally tortured by him. He had offered his resignation yesterday night.
The 23-year- old Sharma worked as an air hostess in his airlines MDLR which is no longer operative. She had committed the suicide at her house in Ashok Vihar in North-west Delhi after being subjected to mental pressure causing depression.
