It is a challenge everyday to have food cravings and fight them. Oftentimes I find myself wanting some sugar confectionary or something very sweet. In fact, the sweets that we eat have lots of processed sugar that is much sweeter than the natural fruits.
Not only is this bad for health, it would also prevent you from enjoying natural sweets like the sweetness of fruits. I have a tip I would like to share with you to overcome such problems.
Go on a strict diet for a week with no artificial sweetners, processed sugar or anything too sweet in any form. You may have a fruit or two during the diet rarely. After a week, your tastebuds would have lost the sense of the excess sweet.
The next time you have a craving for something sweet go for fruits (not fruit juices). You will then condition your body by giving yourself healthy fruits for sweets. This provides high fiber, and other essential nutrients to your body apart from satisfying your food cravings. Win-Win!
