Hillary Clinton finds out she's only human

The English have a weird sense of humor as we found out recently. Their police just had to swoop in to show that nobody is better than anybody when it comes to the law.

A London parking enforcement officer has proved that no one is above law, not even a probable frontrunner for the post of future American President.

In a truly a case of its kind, a good one at that, a London traffic warden slapped a ticket of $127.00 on Hillary Clinton's silver Mercedes Benz sedan  for wrong parking, despite protests from Clinton's security detail. The former secretary of state was visiting London to receive the Chatham House Prize for her diplomatic service.

A report published on the website of London's Daily Mail  revealed pictures of what  can be truly labeled as the 'extraordinary moment'. It reported, “Clinton’s car was slapped with the citation, roughly 45 minutes after arriving. What followed was an animated conversation between members of her security detail and the parking attendant, who calmly maintained a look of 'Hillary who?' throughout.”

Hillary issued a parking ticket

Greg Brennan, a photographer and witness,  reported that “at least one of Clinton’s security agents was seen “angrily waving his arms” and showing the attendant his badge.” Still, he issued the fine.

“Despite our traffic marshal being questioned by the secret service for just doing his job, he was in the right,” Councillor Daniel Astaire, the local city council member for business said.

“The former US Secretary of State was parked for nearly 45 minutes without paying. I’m sure she will understand that we have to be fair to everyone, regardless of their status on the world stage.”

While the confrontation played out in the parking lot, Clinton was busy chatting up with other dignitaries in the house.

There is a strong reason for all this noise. Britain has a funny list that counts US on the top, where breaking parking rules are concerned. It is no surprise that the UK media had a gala time making a cartoon of one of the most influential women in America.
