softskinTaking a warm water bath, to which around 3 to 4 drops each of rosemary essential oil, chamomile essential oil, rose essential oil and lavender essential oil have been added. Soak your body in this water for at least 20 minutes, or till the water gets cool. After the bath is done, the water should not be rinsed off. Instead, it is best to just towel the body dry

Cool water helps the body retain its moisture and therefore, hot water has the total opposite effect on the body. Therefore, taking a bath or a shower with hot water should be strictly avoided, to reduce the chances of suffering from dry and cracked skin.

Skincare products that are very oily or contain harsh chemical should be avoided, as they could have a drying effect on the skin, in the long run. As these products contain a lot of oil they reduce the body’s ability to produce natural oils. Instead light oils like pure grape seed oils should be used, as they can be absorbed by the skin, but still retain the body’s ability to produce natural oil.

Use a humidifier to add moisture to the environment, which can prevent the skin from drying out.

Drinking a high amount of water each day, to hydrate and moisturize the skin from within.
