Before VidyaBalan has agreed to play on screen Silk Smitha for the film ‘Dirty Picture’ the entire film industry used to woe VidyaBalan for her thought in choosing the variety of roles and each role and film would make her grow as an actress. Though even her ‘Dirty Picture’ is being focused on her, this is a total change over for Vidya. The actress is not just glamorous but many are tagging Vidya looking vulgar in the posters and trailers of the film. Recently, during the pre-promotional event for this December 2nd release, Vidya has been tagged by her fans as ‘BombaatBalan’. This is even more bold statement passed on an actress. Seems like Vidya is taking all the comments and criticism coming her way with a grace and likes the response she has been getting.

"I would have to say that Silk (her character name in the film) has been an extremely demanding, exhausting, tiring and yet very fulfilling and exhilarating role for me to have played. It's like a workout. Sometimes you kill yourself during the workout and you feel dead after that. But it's also extremely exhilarating and there is a sense of adrenalin rush after the workout and that is how I feel after this film," VidyaBalan said.

Directed by Milan Luthria and produced by ShobhaKapoor _ the dirty Picture_, is slated to hit the screens on December 02, 2011, which happens to be the birth anniversary of Smitha.
