57 % cannot live without smartphones

A new study has revealed that 57 per cent of Indians cannot live without their smartphones and one of three Indians would give up watching television for a week before their smartphone. The survey was  conducted by San Francisco-based B2X Care Solutions, the leading provider of customer care for smartphones worldwide.

However, Indians are not satisfied with the support from the mobile companies when the phone gets into trouble. The survey said, it will take at least eight days for the phone to get repaired but again, the service provided is below average. Amercians and Chinese people wait less than 24 hours to get their phone back in their hands.

The findings also added that 98 percent of Americans sleep with their smartphone and about 13 percent won't give up their phones even if they are paid USD 500 per week. The sample was conducted on 2500 mobile consumers.
