Top Reasons why Indians prefer Meditation:- A survey conducted on the Indians said that happiness, personal growth and peace are the reasons why most of them are taking up meditation. The survey also revealed that the people of all ages are taking up meditation and they are getting the right benefits. The survey has been conducted on people of the ages of 18 and 65 years. Peace and happiness are the major reasons told by the Indians and some of them even said that they took up meditation for stress management. The survey is conducted by the apps meditation and mindfulness along with ThinkRight.me. Over 1000 individuals falling in the age range of 18 and 60 are interviewed.

The survey is conducted in cities Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru. Some of them also said meditation helped them for a better sleep. For the age group of 18-25 years: 16 percent told that they meditated for better sleep and 15 percent for personal growth, 10 percent to beat stress. The people from Pune and Bengaluru told that they preferred meditation for peace and happiness. The people from Delhi said that they meditated for stress management and better sleep.
