Black Box of Air India Flight Crucial to Investigate About the Crash:- The Air India flight that had 190 passengers on board from Dubai to Kozhikode crash landed in the airport and fell into a valley and broke into two pieces. The tragedy killed 20 people and the investigation about the incident is currently on. The aircraft is said to have skid off the tabletop runway while landing. The exact cause of the crash is yet to be estimated and the black box plays a crucial role in the investigation. The black box from the Air India flight has been retrieved and the investigation takes 48 hours. The Aviation accident investigation team will investigate the matter at the earliest. In some of the cases, the black box will be sent to the airline company in United States to decode the matter and the entire investigation is expected to take two weeks of time. The black box will reconstruct the entire story and it will reveal all the parameters including the speed, height, elevation and the acceleration. Every minute detail can be traced through the black box. The Flight data recorders (FDR) stores all the important information about the plan which is commonly known as black box and it is orange in colour. The blackbox can withstand in extreme temperatures and in deep waters and high pressure. They work even after the flight goes out of the radar.

Akhilesh Kumar, The Co-pilot of Air India Crash Flight Leaves his Pregnant Wife Behind:- Akhilesh Kumar was welcomed to Karipur Airport, Kozhikode on May 8th this year as he was a part of the Vande Bharat Mission and he was the pilot of the first flight under the mission. Three months later, Akhilesh Kumar was the co-pilot of the Air India flight that crash-landed yesterday evening in Kozikhode after it lost the control on the runway. The flight overshot the tabletop runway and plunged 35 feet below  and it split into two. Akhilesh Kumar was one of the 20 people who died in the tragedy. After they circled twice, Akhilesh Kumar along with the flight captain Deepak Sathe tried to land the aircraft. The flight broke into two and it had 170 passengers on board. Akhilesh Kumar and Megha got married in December 2017 and is survived by his parents, two younger brothers and a sister. Akhilesh Kumar started working for Air India since 2017 and he was one who had sound knowledge on the technical details. His co-pilots and friends recalled the experience with Akhilesh Kumar. 61,537 New Coronavirus Cases Reported In India:- The country reported 61,537 new cases of coronavirus yesterday which is the highest single-day spike in India. The total number of cases in the country now stands at 20,88,612. There are 6,19,088 active cases and 14,27,006 people got cured or discharged in the country. A total number of 42,518 people passed away as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. 933 people passed away in the country in the last 24 hours in the country. This is the ninth consecutive day that the coronavirus cases in India are more than 50,000 per day. A total number of 2,33,87,171 samples have been tested till yesterday in the country and 5,98,778 samples are tested yesterday alone. Over 5 lakhs cases are reported in just in 9 days in India. Serum Institute of India recently inked a deal with Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to produce 100 million doses of coronavirus vaccine for a fund of 150 million USD. USA registered 1,60,000 deaths in total due to coronavirus. Brazilian billionaire, Jorge Lemann’s foundation is funding for coronavirus vaccine. There are over 150 coronavirus vaccines in various stages of development across the globe. Some of them are in final stages of human trials. SII in association with Oxford University vaccine and a vaccine developed by Bharat Biotech, Hyderabad, have shown good results in the human trials.

Schools to Reopen from September 1st:- The Centre has been holding talks about the reopening of schools and the discussions are on from the past few weeks. The Centre finally came up with a plan to reopen the schools across the country in a phased manner starting from September 1st. The phases will fall between September 1st and November 14th. The Centre also asked the state governments to take the final call on the reopening of schools. The Centre will only publish the guidelines. The Centre told that the states with low number of cases can reopen the schools but all the the guidelines should be followed. The operating protocols will be issued for the states by the end of this month. First phase: September 1st-5th: The students of classes 10,11,12 will attend the schools. Not all the students of the class will be called. The strength would be increased gradually and the schools can go on increasing the classes in a phased manner till November 14th. The schools will run in two shifts: 8 to 11 and 12 to 3. The entire premises should be sanitized between the shifts. The students should follow social distancing and face masks, sanitizers are made mandatory till further orders are issued. It is the responsibility of the school to take care of these guidelines. The primary classes will not reopen anytime now.

20 Dead After Air India Flight Falls into a Valley in Kozhikode:- 20 people including the pilot DV Sathe got killed after an Air India flight from Dubai overshot the runway and fell into a 35-feet valley. The aircraft breaks into two pieces and had 174 passengers on board including 10 infants along with two pilots and five crew staff. The Aviation Ministry said that the flight was a part of Vande Bharat Mission which is bringing back the Indians stranded abroad. The casualties are likely to go up as there are some of the passengers who are critically injured in the mishap. All the passengers are getting treated in various hospitals in Kozikhode. The co-pilot is also badly injured said the officials. Air India Express (AXB 1344) took off from Dubai at 4.45 PM and landed in Kozhikode at 7.41 PM under heavy rain and low visibility. The aircraft continued to move and it hit the boundary wall and fell into the valley. The aircraft broke into two pieces. The front region from the cockpit to the main passenger door was ripped off. Several passengers got trapped inside and were rescued by the cops and the CISF. Over 60 ambulances from several hospitals of Kozhikode are rushed to the spot to take the passengers to the hospitals. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his grief over the incident. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Governor Arif Mohammad Khan will visit the spot today. Two special flights from Delhi and Mumbai are deployed to carry on the relief activities.

Serum Institute of India said that it received 150 million USD funding from the Bill and Melindia Gates Foundation and GAVI vaccines to make 100 million doses of coronavirus vaccine for India. Serum Institute of India says that the candidate vaccine including those from AstraZeneca and Novavax are priced at Rs 225 (3 USD) per done and will be available in 92 countries in GAVI's COVAX Advance Market Commitment (AMC), said Serum Institute of India in a statement. The funds of GAVI will be used to support the Serum Institute of India. GAVI is a private and public global health partnership that is working to increase the access to immunization in the poor countries. COVAX is in plans to deliver 2 billion doses of effective coronavirus vaccine by the end of 2021. India emerged as the third country to have 2 million coronavirus cases in the globe. United States and Brazil are leading the list with the number of infections in the world. The total tally of coronavirus cases in India stands at 20,86,864 and the country registered over 5 lakh cases in 9 days.
