Fire Hydrant. It is generally used in any shopping centers, movie theaters or any other public places. Generally a  fire threat can be expected anywhere these days, so the necessity of these fire hydrants are obviously very essential.

We learnt about many discoveries and inventions in our school and colleges. But what about a fire hydrant ?, we know its use, but do we know that who invented it ?, do we at least thought of it anytime ?. Anyway its not our mistake. The reason behind this is, the inventor of a fire hydrant is not known to the public or in fact to the world.

Yes, no one knows about fire hydrants inventor, because the patent of it was burnt in fire in the past. There are many gossips about its patent, but none of it is actually proved to be true. But one thing to be remembered is, till date it saved many lives, crores of property and much more. Lets see if the future tries to find the inventor's name whom we are supposed to be indebted to.
