Kalvakuntla Kavitha Responds About Being Linked To Liquor Scam:- The BJP leadership on Sunday alleged that Telangana TRS leader and MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha played a crucial role in the multi-crore liquor policy scam in New Delhi that is shaking the nation. Kavitha happens to be the daughter of Telangana Chief Minister KCR. The CBI officials conducted raids on various crucial leaders of Delhi and this created a senstion. There are allegations that Kavitha arranged meetings at Oberoi Hotel with the liquor barons and the rumors say that Kavitha paid Rs 4.5 crores bribe to Sisodia to get a distillery in Punjab. There are reports that Rs 3.5 crores was paid in cash and the rest was offered through a credit note for Robin Distilleries.
Kalvakuntla Kavitha responded about the incident on a strong note. She said that the national party could not touch her father and they are trying hard to target her as she was the daughter of KCR. She also announced of filing a defamation case against the BJP leaders who made the above allegations. Kavitha will file a defamation suit against BJP MP Parvesh Varmaa and Manjinder Singh Sirsa, a former MLA of the BJP. She will soon move to the court to seek an injunction order against those who made these allegations. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) filed a case against Delhi Minister Sisodia and Arun Ramachandran Pillai. KTR too took a dig against the BJP for their allegations.
