Non Bailable Arrest Warrant Against Chandra Babu: This came as a huge shock after AP Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu has been issued non bailable warrant by a court based in Maharastra. These were issued in connection with the protests done by Chandra Babu against the Babli project which took place a decade back. Dharmabad Court in Maharastra issued notices to Chandra Babu, Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao and 14 others in this case. This happened after several people from Telangana were in trouble. The court asked Babu to appear before the court on September 21st.

Chandra Babu and others were house arrested and were sent back to Hyderabad after the incident took place. Chandra Babu was in Tirumala offering prayers when the news came out. The Maharastra Government promised to strike all the case but he received a shock. The supporters of Babu turned out angry as Babu staged a protest to call off the project as Telangana would turn a desert if the project would be constructed.
