In what a shocking incident, family members have killed their 21 year old daughter who marriage an outside caste guy just three days ago. Going into the story, Bhawna, a third-year student of Sri Venkateswara College, married Abhishek Seth, 24, a contract employee at Rashtrapati Bhawan, on November 12.

Bhawna's parents did not accept her relation and fixed her engagement with another guy on November 22nd. But a week back she married Abhishek at Arya Samaj Mandir in Connaught Place. Post the wedding, Bhawna's parents promised to honour the marriage and took to their home assuring a grand wedding and reception. But unexpectedly Bhawna's parents assaulted her for dishonouring her family and ordered to divorce Abhishek. As she refused to change her mind, parents had to kill her.

Abhishek filed a police complaint on November 16 after he failed to reach out to her. The police interrogated the parents and family members separately. When they gave different versions of the plot, the truth was finally revealed. Bhawna's parents told neighbours that she had been bitten by a snake and that they were taking her to an ayurvedic practioner in their native village. Through a cousin of Bhawna, Abhishek got to know that she had been cremated.
