D Srinivas former President of PCC says that the decision on Telangana is final and irrevocable. He says that a decision is taken prolonged discussions at various levels.
DS spoke in the rally conducted by City Congress Committee at Nizamabad on his visit after the Telangana Statehood has got a nod from the party’s high command at last. He said in his speech that Sonia Gandhi faced many hurdles in making the decision for a separate Telangana State but she finally achieved it. Although still some hurdles are there, DS is confident that she will succeed in her endeavor of forming the Telangana State as she is determined to do it.
DS said that entire credit goes only Sonia Gandhi in the formation of Telangana. He also paid tributes to the martyrs of the movement. He suggested that at this moment of disturbances in the State, leaders of both regions should maintain constraint and refrain from passing remarks that may fuel the furies and aggravate the situation.
DS assured the people of Telangana that abundant resources are at the disposal of the Telangana region and the State will prosper by utilizing them properly.
