Congress senior leader D Srinivas had officially joined in TRS party today.

DS, who had resigned to the Congress party few days back, had finally joined in the TRS party today. Telangana Chief Minister KCR has welcomed DS officially and was found thoroughly happy for his entry into the TRS.

Speaking on the occasion, DS said that, “it is because of KCR, the Telangana is achieved, and his efforts for it would always have a special place in the history and in fact that is the reason for his victory in the elections.”

“His active participation in the welfare activities of the state receives a loud applause, that is making the other party leaders like me to join in the TRS, DS added.

On the other side, KCR said that, “DS is one such a leader, who had a vast experience in the politics. He is the one person to support the Telangana movement and in fact, he gave a few strong suggestions during the movement.”

The other officials in the TRS party greeted DS and expressed their happiness for his decision of joining the party.

Andhrawishesh view

A senior leader like DS would obviously be a major plus to the growth of the TRS party in Telangana, but on the other side, it would even be a threat, if he tries to concentrate on higher positions in the party.

It is to be remembered that, DS once wished to sit on the Chief Minister’s chair, while he is in the Congress party. It would be an obvious threat to KCR, if DS still has that wish.
