Heavy downpour in state

Heavy downpour was witnessed last night in several parts of the state. Accompanied by gusty winds the rain took the fate of the crops for a toss. In fact,  the rain was so adverse that even stones were pelted off the sky that even damaged several vehicles. There at several mandals of Kadapa district, banana plants crop was damaged.

According to our reports, nearly  10 lakh acres of crop was damaged. The situation was same even in Karimnagar district wherein paddy, mango and corn crops over 8000 acres got spoiled.  In Sirikonda of Nizamabad district, 1500 acre paddy crop was submerged due to heavy rain.

In the capital city Hyderabad, although people returning from offices seemed to have enjoyed the rain, the overflow of rainwater has become a headache to several road side shop vendors. They were found cleaning the slush that was gathered due to the rain.  Drainages were over flown and filthy smell troubled the pedestrians who were spotted covering their noses with handkerchiefs. It may be noted that heavy down pour was even witnessed in Hyderabad and Secunderabad that led to traffic jam and hit the breaking news.  Notably, Hyderabadis who face hell like situation every summers seemed to have enjoyed last night’s weather.
