Revanth Reddy to carve out new city near ORR:- The state government has announced plans to create a new city near the Outer Ring Road in Hyderabad, in addition to the existing tri-city area. This move will establish Hyderabad as a significant urban center in the country. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy emphasized his government's commitment to prioritizing pollution-free industries and developing the necessary infrastructure for health and sports in the new city. He also mentioned that the new city will be connected to the metro services. During the inauguration of the Telangana State Fire Services headquarters, Revanth Reddy clarified his government's policy of focusing on multiple pollution-free Pharma Villages rather than a mega Pharma City, as proposed by the previous administration. He also criticized the former chief minister for disregarding the advice of irrigation experts when planning the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme. In contrast, Revanth Reddy stressed the importance of careful consideration before making any decisions.

Revanth Reddy expressed his intentions to further develop Hyderabad and elevate the city to a greater level. He emphasized the significant progress made in the past 30 years, positioning the city as a competitor among global metropolises. The government's main focus is maintaining law and order to attract more investments, and to achieve this, they plan to create a comprehensive 'Mega Master Plan 2050' for the development of all regions in the state. These regions will be classified as urban, semi-urban, or rural, and developmental projects will be undertaken accordingly. Additionally, Revanth Reddy commended the crucial role of firefighters in promptly responding to emergencies, acknowledging their willingness to put their lives at stake to protect others.
