In the wake of the ‘Million March’ on March 10 being organized by the Telangana political JAC and other pro-Telangana organizations, groups and individuals demanding separate statehood for the Telangana area, the state Legislative Council today fervently appealed to all concerned to ensure that the Intermediate and tenth class examinations are held in a peaceful manner.  

“In view of the intermediate and 10th class examinations commencing from March 7, this house unanimously appeals to all leaders and parties to help in the smooth conduct of the examinations as per schedule” the legislative council resolved.

The council adopted a unanimous resolution to this effect in which it asked the officials and leaders of various parties to observe restraint and cooperate in all possible manners to conduct the examinations in a peaceful and uninterrupted manner.

“Smooth conduct of the examinations is very much necessary to ensure a golden future for our children and we call up on the media too to do their bit towards the smooth conduct of the examinations,” the resolution said.
