AP Cabinet Approves to Demolish Legislative Council:- Ever since the Legislative Council of Andhra Pradesh opposed the three capital plan and sent the bill to the select committee, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy said that there is no use of Legislative Council and it would be demolished soon. As predicted, the AP cabinet today approved the demolishment of the Legislative Council of Andhra Pradesh. They will be soon introduced in the Assembly house and it would be approved as YSRCP has full majority in the house.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh introduced the proposal as per the past amendments made by the Centre. YS Jagan made sure that this would not face any hurdles and create problems for the state government. All the loopholes as per the law are studied after which YS Jagan's team took the decision. The cabinet meeting took place today in Secretariat this morning and the cabinet approved the decision unanimously. The opposition party TDP is now left puzzled about the move and they are strongly opposing the decision of demolishing the Legislative Council in the state.
