It is only one day since the External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid made a remark on the BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi that he is impotent, a comment from the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh has come out comparing Modi and Rahul.
MP’s Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that there is no comparison between them as, if Modi is a hair of a mustache Rahul is a hair on a tail. Shivraj Singh Chouhan also observes that Rahul Gandhi who was not willing to become a Minister in the first place cannot become a Prime Minister.
Salman Khurshid gave only explanation but not an apology for his comments. He said that Modi as a Chief Minister of Gujarat could not stop riots led by his own party men. That is why he is called an impotent. But in spite of the explanation, Rahul Gandhi did not approve it. He condemned the comments saying that such type of language cannot be appreciated.
It is true that a comment prompts another comment by the opposite camp and ultimately the minus points of both will come to exposure or both the leaders will become laughing stock.
As the elections are in the offing more such remarks can be heard from all political camps as fundamentally the political parties in India rely on the failure of other parties and leaders rather than on their own capabilities!
