Bengaluru students forced to attend BJP MP Tejasvi Surya's Rally:- The Karnataka Pradesh Youth Committee (KPYCC) has announced that it has allowed students of some colleges in Bengaluru to attend the nomination meeting of party member Tejasvi Surya. Sharing videos from students' WhatsApp groups, former Parliament and Congress leader Sowmya Reddy said the government had threatened students with "serious action" if they did not attend the nomination meeting. On Thursday morning, Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya filed her nomination papers to the tune of protesters and huge crowds. KPYCC social media shared the WhatsApp group video and asked the following question: “How did Tejasvi Surya force students to participate in a political program? Has no action been taken against Tejaswi Surya, the MP who forced the students?” Isn't this an ethical violation?

Sowmya Reddy, who is contesting against Tejasvi in Bengaluru, has filed a demand with the Election Commission (CEC) against the sitting MP, saying it is a violation of model conduct. According to a video shared by Sowmya Reddy, VV Puram Private School gave a message to students saying, "Tomorrow all student council members should meet at maiyas hotel Jaynagar at 9 am to meet Tejaswi Surya. You will be given a t-shirt so that you do not get late." Everyone in must be present. It is reporting time and excuses will not be accepted there. You will have the opportunity to participate in this. Thank you! Union Minister Anurag Thakur accompanied Tejasvi Surya to the nomination meeting and asked the people of South Bengaluru to send the latter to the Assembly. Tejasvi said he will win with more votes in his constituency.
