Saw confidence and vision in Modi

Former Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit revealed that when she met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in July before stepping down from Kerala Governor post, saw a confident man, with a vision and a new language. Every Congressmen was shocked with Sheila's statements but when they read her further statements they seems to have satisfied with the clarification she gave.

Adding Sheila said, how all this would be practically implemented is something that remains as a question. “Modi's coinage of new phrases is attractive as it is different. But how far is it practically achieveable, a very big question mark hangs over that,” said the former Delhi CM.  Sheila also spoke about the consequences of resigning to the post of Kerala Governor.

“I got a call from the Home Secretary. I told him two things. the first that it was a Constitutional position and secondly, that it was a position of respect. Then I went to Delhi to meet Home Minister Rajnath Singh. I told him that he must give me 10-12 days to wind up and that he must not treat us all like he did Kamla Beniwal [who was overnight removed from the post],” added Sheila.

But the 76 year old politician said she is not interested in Delhi politics now and is more confined to manage the commemoration of Jawaharlal Nehru’s 125th birth anniversary on November 14.
