In a fatal accident, as many as five Ayyappa devotees were killed while nine sustained major injuries this morning near Bellary. The injured persons were rushed to nearby hospital. The mishap occurred when the van of Ayyappa devotees rammed into a stationary truck. The police identified that deceased as residents of Bellary.
