The CBI alleged that Amit Shah, who was close to the CM Narendra Modi was accused of murder, conspiracy and destruction of evidence.
They had also included R K Patel the CID deputy SP who was investigating the case along with his seniors to the level of  DGP and they would all have to face an arrest.
PC Pande, the then DGP , Geetha Johri, IGP (CID)  at the time of encounter and OP Mathur, head of CID as ADGP, now retired were among the others named in the case.
CBI alleged that the top brass was deployed to push the investigations to the wrong side and destroy any remaining evidence.
Tulsi Prajapati was a close aide of Sohrabuddin Shaikh who was also killed in a fake encounter in November 2005. Tulsi was killed in December 2006 by the same set of cops who are presently behind bars for the killing of Sohrabuddin Shaikh and his wife Kauser Bi.
