Infosys all set to hire 35,000 employees

Software giant Infosys is all set to hire 13,000 employees exclusively for BPO operations besides 22,000 employees for other operations totally 35,000 candidates.

Chief Financial Officer  of Infosys, V. Balakrishnan said: “We are going to add 35,000 more people next year, which includes 13,000 people for the BPO operations.”  “In the last two years, we hired 1,200 people onsite in the US each year (who were) local hire. We are going to continue with that this year and will hire 1,200 people in the US,” he added.

It may be noted that as on March 31, the total strength of Infosys was 1,49, 994. The good news for the company is that it has even reported a 27.4 per cent bump in consolidate net profit for quarter ended the fiscal year.   Also, Infosys is said to be in a plan to hire about 1,200 candidates for its US operations.

It may be noted that Infosys is known for hiring people aggressively. People passing out from their universities dream to start off their career with Infosys.(Phani)
