Post-Tamil Nadu assembly elections, the temple town of Madurai, known for its excellent poster culture, is once again attracting the eyeballs through different posters of super star Rajanikanth put up by his fans.
To the astonishment of everybody, the town appeared painted with posters of Rajani on Sunday. The posters are asking the super star to enter politics to cleanse politics.
Most of the wall posters and flexi banners, some lasting more than 20 feet in length, say that Rajani is fit to rule the White House of USA and should not hesitate to rule the small secretariat in Chennai. “Why do you hesitate to rule the tiny secretariat in Chennai when you are capable of ruling the White House?” some posters asked Rajani.
Some Rajani fans told media persons that they were fed up with the existing political parties in the state and were waiting for instructions from their superstar as to what to do. “Our Rajani has something on his mind and it would be better for him to direct us. If he launches the party, it will turn into the biggest political force in the state,” they told. “Superstar should enter politics to cleanse the system.”
Within hours of Rajani’s posters appearing across Madurai, fans of AIADMK Chief Jayalalitha too started tying her banners showing her receiving the blessings of Lord Kalazhagar. Most of the posters described her as the ‘Amma on the throne of Tamil Nadu.’
