No. 66 Madhurai Bus stopped in Tamilnadu

The unit of the Malayalam film No 66 Madurai Bus was stopped by the MDMK activists at Tamilnadu. Starring Padmapriya and Pasupathy in the lead roles of the film. About bunch of MDMK activists landed to the location and threatened to attack if the team wnet ahead with the shooting in Sundarapandipuram.

Director M A Nishad says, the shooting was immediately wound up and crew returned to the base camp at Punaloor in Kerala. We were shooting with Padmapriya in Thenkasi for four days and then travelled to Sundarapandiapuram, We were setting up our equipments when 40 people landed on the location carrying banners with slogans like 'Give us water from Mullaperiyar or go back' and 'Don't shoot if you can't give us water'. They gave us an hour to pack up and leave the place."
