Yash Raj Films sued by Ajay Devgan

In a shocker to Shah Rukh Khan and co of the Jab Tak Hai Jaan team, they have received a legal notice from their very own rivals for the Diwali 13 release. The notice from the Competition Commission reads that they former have abused their dominance in the market to gain more exhibitors.

Ajay Devgn Films' Naik and Naik, the lawyers have served a notice in the Competition Commission alleging that the YRF firm has used their influence in the Bollywood market to gain undue advantage for the film release whilst denying the rightful for ADF for their November 13 Son on Sardar release which coincides with Diwali.

Sources mentioned that though the notice was filed on October 18, a few days before the death of Yash Chopra, it was served only last evening. They mentioned that ADF had to go the legal way only due to the monarchy-like policies being followed by YRF. They said, "Before the release of Ek Tha Tiger, in August 2012, YRF had reportedly used their dominant position in the market to enter into an arrangement with the exhibitors saying that they will give them Ek Tha Tiger only if the exhibitors agreed to reportedly give their Diwali release prominence over others.''

Ajay Devgn however was not reachable for a comment but it is sure that Son of Sardaar, Ajay Devgn is not backing up intimidated by the monarchy of YRF as he is set to release the movie as scheduled on Diwali.
