Strong violence in SRK's Dunki:- In just two days, Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki will be pitted against Prabhas' Salaar, with Salaar releasing on December 22nd and Dunki hitting theaters on December 21st. The recently released action trailer for Salaar has generated a tremendous response, earning an 18+ rating from the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) due to its violent and action-packed content. On the other hand, Dunki has also received certification from the BBFC but with a rating of 15 and over, indicating it is suitable for viewers aged 15 and above.

According to the BBFC, Dunki revolves around the story of four friends from a small village in Punjab who embark on a journey to England without a visa. The film is a comedy-drama that includes occasional violent and upsetting scenes, as well as themes of discrimination. The BBFC advisory further highlighted instances of violence, gun threats, discrimination against Indians by white employers, and references to discrimination against migrants, as well as attempted sexual violence.

Despite these aspects, Dunki brings several advantages, such as Shah Rukh Khan's success with his recent projects like Pathaan and Jawan and the involvement of renowned filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, known for his sensible and impactful movies. It remains to be seen whether Dunki can withstand the competition posed by Salaar across the nation.
