KCR takes over Health Portfolio from Etala Rajendar:- Telangana Health Minister Etala Rajendar has been facing land allegations and the news broke out yesterday. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao arranged a press conference immediately and ordered an investigation against the incident. Etala Rajendar said that he is ready to face the investigation instead of stepping down as the Health Minister of Telangana. KCR has taken over the Health Portfolio from Etala Rajendar today. The portfolio of Medical, Health and Family Welfare is now transferred to KCR after the state governor approved the request of KCR. KCR ordered a probe in the land grabbing that took place in Medak district. He asked the Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to investigate the issue and get in touch with the district Collector.

He also asked the Chief Secretary to investigate about the complaints filed on the encroachments of the land that is said to be grabbed by Etala Rajendar in Medak district's Achampet. KCR is expected to receive a complete report on the issue very soon. When asked Etala Rajendar about meeting the Chief Minister, he said that there is no need to meet the Chief Minister. There are speculations that few farmers met KCR about the 100 acres of assigned land that is grabbed by Etala Rajendar. The local cops are asked to investigate the matter completely. Digital surveys are conducted by the Vigilance Department. Etala Rajendar called it a pre-planned conspiracy to defame him. Etala Rajendar has been demanding a detailed investigation through a sitting judge but things changed quickly.
