The power outage continued in Hyderabad for the third consecutive day on Thursday in some of the regions of Hyderabad because of the flooding. Several electric poles are affected and damaged due to the Tuesday rains. Somajiguda continued to struggle as there is no power supply for two complete days.

As per the Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL), 686 feeders and 312 poles along with 14 substations are damaged in the limits of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). Yesterday most of the substations and feeders are repaired but they could not resume power supply in some of the regions because of the water flow.
