Two Youngsters Drown in a Water-filled Quarry in Hyderabad:- Two youngsters in their mid-twenties were drowned in a quarry that was filled with rainwater because of the recent rains that lashed Hyderabad. The incident took place in Kothwalguda in Shamshabad on the outskirts of Hyderabad. They are identified as 24-year-old Mallesh and 25-year-old Jai Krishna. Both of them are said to be construction workers in Rajendranagar and are residents of Shivarampally in Rangareddy district. After completing their daily work, they went to a quarry near to Kothwalguda which was filled with water. They went to the quarry to click pictures and they fell into the pit as per the initial investigation.

The cops predict that one of them fell into the water-filled quarry and the other had to jump to rescue his friend. The local people alerted the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport cops and they reached the spot. The swimmers are hired to retrieve the bodies of the youngsters. A case has been registered the mortal remains of Mallesh and Jai Krishna have been shifted to Osmania General Hospital morgue to conduct an autopsy. Hyderabad received heavy downpour on Wednesday and the city was completely flooded. The commuters faced several problems because of waterlogging in the city.
