Two New Names Considered for Maharashtra Chief Minister:- It is finally clear Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP will form the government in Maharashtra after weeks of high drama. Shiv Sena was keen on taking the Chief Minister's Chair and the party chief Uddhav Thackeray's name was on the top of the list. The latest update says that the names of Sanjay Raut and Arvind Sawant emerged as frontrunners for the post of chief minister. A high profile meeting was chaired today in Matoshree. Sanjay Raut, a senior leader of Shiv Sena said that Shiv Sena will get a full five-year term as Chief Minister.

The party leaders of Shiv Sena said that Uddhav Thackeray is not keen on taking the Chief Minister's chair after which the names of other leaders surfaced. But there are talks that Uddhav Thackeray will take the final call on the CM candidate and NCP, Congress will not have any chance to take a call on this. Uddhav Thackeray is expected to meet Sonia Gandhi and Sharad Pawar soon after things are finalized.
