KTR responds on Medigadda Row:- BRS leader K.T. Rama Rao made a visit to the Medigadda and Annaram barrages, both of which have encountered issues. Rama Rao's purpose for the visit was to counter the "false propaganda" surrounding the Kaleshwaram project. He dismissed the sinking of three piers in the Medigadda barrage as a means to claim that a large sum of money had been wasted. However, he failed to acknowledge that the barrage is crucial to the success of the Kaleshwaram project. Rama Rao also ignored the criticism from various authorities regarding the poor design and disregard for important factors in the project. During his interaction with the media at the Annaram barrage, Rama Rao stated that this visit is just the beginning of his efforts to present the truth about Kaleshwaram to the public.
