Telangana To Get Five New Airports:- The Municipal Administration and Urban Development and Industries departments have been directed to explore the possibility of air connectivity to different places in the state by the Telangana Government. Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KTR directed the officials to set up five new airports in the state. Warangal (Mamunuru), Adilabad, Ramagundem, Jakraspally and Kothagudem are the places in consideration for the new airport.

KTR even asked the Telangana State Aviation Corporation to develop a strategy plan. The final call would be taken after a detailed survey conducted across the desired cities in Telangana. Apart from this, the availability of land and other resources are being considered. The officials informed that Warangal (Mannuru) has 750 acres of land and the airport can be set up on priority. KTR directed the officials to complete the survey at the earliest and submit a detailed report on the same.
