CBI JD leaves for Delhi

CBITodelhiCBI Joint Director Mr VV Lakshminarayana today left for Delhi from Hyderabad with two of his officers to submit a status report on the investigation into the illegal mining case to the Supreme Court.

He will submit his status report on the investigations made so far in the illegal mining case registered against the mining mafia don Mr Gali Janardhan reddy and his brother in law Mr Srinivasa reddy.

The apex court of the country has in a recent order directed the CBI to submit its status report in the case on Sept 30. The court also asked the investigating agency to probe the illegal exports of iron ore undertaken by the Gali brothers and their Bellary links with Ananthapuram mining area.

Lakshminarayana will submit his report to the court registrar on Friday and then return to Hyderabad on Saturday.
