Chandrababu, family members to approach HC

Even as the CBI joint director VV Lakshminarayana announced today that they would complete the investigation against the former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu, his family members and others with in the stipulated three months period, Chandrababu and others have decided to file petitions in the High Court seeking to vacate its earlier orders.

Chandrababu, his wife Bhuvaneswari, son Lokesh and others named by the High Court in its orders will file petitions on Monday or Tuesday. TDP leaders at a meeting asked Chandrababu and others to approach the High Court as suggested by the Supreme Court.

Already, Eenadu group chairman Ramoji Rao and TDP leader Mr CM Ramesh filed independent petitions in the HC on Thursday seeking the nullification of its earlier orders. These petitions will come up for hearing on Dec 5.

Meanwhile, Lakshminarayana said he had received the copies of Vijayamma petition from the High Court and register cases after examining the petition papers. “We will complete the preliminary investigation within the three months period given to us,” he told journalists.

Jagan case adjourned to Nov 28

The High Court today adjourned till Nov 28 hearing on the petition filed by YSR Congress party president Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy seeking to quash the orders the special CBI court directing the CBI to hand over all the documents seized during the raids on his premises to the IT officials of Hyderabad and Bangalore.  (JUBS)
