TRS chief K. Chandrasekhara Rao said today that there should be no let-up in the T agitation as achieving Telangana is the need of the hour.

Speaking to media persons at his party office in Hyderabad, KCR warned the T people that the Seema Andhra leaders would push them into the nether world in the future if Telangana is not achieved now.

“Even the Seema Andhra people are in favour of Telangana and it is high time that the Telangana race is liberated. Seema Andhra leaders say that the Telangana region could be developed with a package but there are no funds to develop projects as the government’s revenue is not meeting the needs of even salaries of government employees,” observed KCR.

Revealing the details of further agitation for achieving the separate state, KCR said that a memorial lecture on Professor Jayashankar and a women’s conference would be organized on August 6 and August 9 respectively in Telangana Bhavan.

“These will be followed by a grand public meeting at Chennur of Adilabad district on August 10,” said KCR.
