KK finds flaws in T stir

Agreeing to the presence of flaws in the Telangana agitation, Rajya Sabha member Mr K. Keshava rao said today the T congress MPs had failed to put pressure on the congress high command at the most appropriate time on the issue of Telangana.

Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad this afternoon, Keshava rao said a solution to the Telangana issue could be found only through talks. “We will speak to the Seema Andhra leaders to get the Telangana state,” he said, adding they would try to remove the flaws in the agitation in the future.

Keshava rao said the congress MPs of the region would soon meet to decide their future course of action. “If Telangana is not forthcoming, it is a wasteful activity for the congress to fight the by elections,” he observed. “It is very unfortunate the agitation has turned controversial,” Keshava rao said.

He demanded the Centre to make a statement on the formation of the Telangana state before the end of the budget session of the parliament. “However, we will continue to fight for the separate state,” he said.

Speaking about the dismissal of Sankara rao from the cabinet, Keshava rao opined that the congress high command shohld have asked him to change his behaviour in stead of sacking him from the cabinet. (JUBS)
