TRS Chief KCR launched the all powerful 2-day Chandi Yagam early this morning at the Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad to invoke the heavens to achieve Telangana state.
“The Yagam and other Homas are aimed at achieving separate Telangana state and seeking the all round welfare of the Telangana people,” said KCR after the commencement of the most auspicious programme.
“God’s blessings are needed for any thing,” said KCR when asked whether he is confident of achieving the separate state of Telangana this time after this Yagam.
Several Vedic pundits and Purohits are participating in the Yagam which began in the wee hours today. KCR and his wife, attired in red silk clothes as suggested by the Vedic pundits, have joined the programme around 8 am. (JUBS)
