5 possible ways to protect the teeth

We plan many, but stop from implementing it, complaining about the time. But here are a few tips which are even practically possible to implement. Try them to protect your teeth.

Do not brush the teeth immediately after eating

Wait for 30 to 40 minutes to allow the saliva to neutralize the low PH in the mouth, caused by the food and drinks before the brushing.

Avoid hard bristled toothbrush on teeth

Use only a soft bristled toothbrush. The hard one will damage the gums, root surface and the tooth enamel.

Teeth is not to open the bottles

Teeth are very sensitive and using it as a bottle opener will lead to chipping the tooth. If any tooth is so missed, keep that tooth in the milk and rush to the dentist.

Hard drinks are safer for teeth instead of soft

Yes, you read it right. The soft drinks has the lowest pH and so are acidic, whereas Champagne has higher pH values and so are less dangerous compared to the soft drinks like Coke.

Floss before brushing

Floss before brushing to loosen food debris, if any. Then brush and spit the toothpaste, but avoid rinsing with the water later. This keeps the fluoride on the teeth and prevents the buildup of plaque, which can lead to cavities.
