Actress Soha Ali Khans says that her mother Sharmila Tagore clearly wants her to become a lawyer someday. It seems that somehow she hasn't impressed her mom yet, despite of having overwhelming success in critical films under her belt. That's perhaps because she always wanted her to become a lawyer as she hopes to see her daughter have a stable job in the future, far away from the glamorous world of showbiz! Soha when asked about her mom's role in her acting career, she confesses that her mom still expects her to become a lawyer someday. If not, at least have a regular job like others. But going by the way things are right now, I don't think that's taking place anytime soon," sarcastically remarks the 34-year-old actress.

To say about this beautiful actress, she read geography at Balliol College, Oxford before earning a Masters degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science which is why "Amma always thought I'd choose an academic career because I had that leaning from the very beginning. However, that wasn't to happen as I decided to get into films," sums up Soha.

Presently, Soha is the ambassador of the upcoming North East fashion fest which aims to promote the art and culture of the seven states and the pretty actress is glad to be part of the enterprise.

She added that her ignorance about the north eastern part of India was changed completely because of their uniqueness after she went travelling. Soha is going to walk on the ramp along with Huma Qureshi, Mugdha Godse and Jiah Khan.
