It is nothing less than a sort of exchange between Kollywood action hero Surya and Tollywood prince Mahesh Babu as they unknowingly exchanged their movie projects. What Surya wanted was taken over by the prince and what the prince did not want was grabbed by Surya.

It may be mentioned that ace director Sankar wanted to remake the super hit Hindi movie ‘3 idiots’ in Telugu with Mahesh Babu in the lead role but the prince rejected the offer objecting to the roping in of majority of Tamil artistes for the Telugu movie. “It looks like a Tamil dubbed version,” was his main objection. Sankar wanted to remake it in Tamil with Vijay as the main hero but Vijay also rejected the offer due to unknown reasons.

Now, the news is that Tamil action hero Surya was roped in to act in the movie and it is clear he will be the hero for both Telugu and Tamil versions of the remake as he has got excellent market potential in AP too.

In the process, Mahesh got the one which was liked by Surya. Successful director Puri Jagannath wanted to direct the story of ‘The business man’ taking Surya in the main role in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu for Ram Gopal Varma. Surya liked the project and agreed to act in the movie but somehow it got delayed and meanwhile, RR Movie Makers wanted to make a movie with Mahesh and approached Jagannath. The story was liked by the production house as well as the prince Mahesh Babu.
